1905

Heinrich Gräßle is appointed as goods manager for the railway service at the train station of Bad Herrenalb, Germany. The luggage belonging to spa guests is transported by horse and cart.

1955

Erwin Gräßle takes over his father’s business.

1973

Closing down of the freight transport by railway.

1974

Wilfried Gräßle, the son of Erwin Gräßle, founds transport business Wilfried Gräßle on 24 June. Procurement of the first MAN tanker vehicle. For the most part bitumen and heavy fuel are transported.

1981

Entry into the area of technical gases on 1 October. Every single gas cylinder is loaded and unloaded manually.

1993

Following the passing of Wilfried Gräßle in July of this year his wife Christa continues running the business.

1994

Lothar Gräßle, the son of Wilfried und Christa Gräßlem founds Gräßle Transport GmbH as its director.

1999

The whole fleet of six vehicle is moved from Bad Herrenalb to Muggensturm. Administration remains in the Bad Herrenalb offices.

2003

The business is restructured to for Gräßle Transport
GmbH & Co. KG on 24 March.

2011

Extension of the warehouse space at Heinkelstraße 24 and setting up the new supply office.

2012

Beginning of the business’ cooperation with Tyco Fire & Security.

2014

Power of attorney is granted to Marina Grässle.

2015

Anja Gräßle continues her education to become a business administration for freight transport and logistics at Deutsche Außenhandels- und Verkehrsakademie (German Academy of external trade and traffic) in Bremen. She graduates with a diploma issued by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

2015

Administration moves into a new premises in November. This is their current postal address: Post box 1118, 76457 Muggensturm, Germany.
